OK, so I moved my website from one hosting account to another, in the process the site was lost. I have rebuilt it to some extent and will continue to focus a major portion of my free time to that endeavor. There is a lot left to do, I think I have my poetry and spoken word mostly handled.

I have to attack my photography which will be the next big push. This will take a great deal of effort; I have thousands of photos to go through and upload. I should end up with a hundred or more that are actually decent shots.

I also want to include some audio tracks of other spoken word artists that I have worked with or crossed paths with in the past, including a piece by Johnny Cash that I came across and performed for a Johnny Cash Tribute show put on by Albany Poets here in Albany, New York a couple of years back. Johnny Cash was an outstanding spoken word artist on top of everything else he did.

The Winter HaikuWriMo 2009 is over half over and has kept me writing everyday this month. One little haiku a day leads to so much more inspiration, it is an excellent exercise to keep one moving forward and in constant communication with their muse. I want to send a big thank you to MSJames and Lit-Resources for getting this thing rolling.

I am waiting to hear the results of TMunkys Short Poetry Contest. It ended on Valentines Day so hopefully we will all hear soon. I penned a poem on the Want vs. Need prompt, wanna read it?

I have been writing to most prompts and many of the contests if for no other reason than to simply keep writing. I have found a wealth of inspiration here at Deviant Art and for that I am truly thankful.
